200m HP, 15,5m exp. 'nuff said. http://img18.imageshack.us/img18/417/killtj.jpg That's why I love being archer :D No real strategy needed..it's auto aggrod so clear the platform under it, make sure you have his attention, place puppet below and fire away. You have to pay really close attention on your puppet timer though since you have about a second to jump down when puppet dies. Otherwise you are toast. Other than that, it's smooth sailing. Took about 35mins fully appled. The defense is insane though, about the same as Dodo with w.def buff on. Have fun kids

LOL.....u wish u can do Royal Guard leech....xD even my 12x NL cant hit it. No way anyone lower than me can hit it. Unless u got super accuracy equips and potions with you : P.

tried it. died. attacks way too fast after puppet expires, but i was distracted by some peeps there talking (not that I'm blaming them). projectile attack did 7000+ on me, better have some wheels of destiny and safety charms next time i try him again

tried it with my last day of 2exp killed 3 and got 180m exp would have lvled if i can find a bishop to hs. anyway gg whining days this is the best exp bowman can ever dream of. usually 180m exp would take me 3 days now it takes 3 hrs with juz 4x.

Killed one more today and I'm getting the hang of it. I wouldn't do it without apples or at least level 150 or late 140s, since the monster is level 160. I was wrong about the defense..according to Basil even Anego has more def than this guy does, so the huge damage reduction only comes from the high level. At 140 the reduction would be 20%, and that's probably a bit too high IMO. Puppeting isn't that hard either. Phoenix does very good job at getting his attention for first puppet ( climb on rope and jump off to lower platform so phoenix can attack it once ), and most of the boss' attacks are slow. The only attack you have to look out for is the Targa-ish kamikaze attack which he does like 30% of the time. Also he seems to start using seduce once his HP drops to around 30-40% of the maxium, but that's not a problem if you placed puppet to the left so that the boss will be hugging the wall most of the time. It shouldn't be able to seduce you if you stay close to the rope but not on top of the rope so you can jump down quick.

Pretty sure marksman would have a easier time soloing it at lower levels with snipe, although about the puppet part, I got confused by the "jump off to lower plat" part, couldn't you just attack it from that lower plat? I'll have to check out the map myself to really understand, I guess. Can it hit you from that platform? o_O Also, is it relatively easy to find? I'm guessing it has some daily spawn time, or something. Finally, I'm guessing it has the purple animation for seducing? -planning on soloing it everyday, if I can manage to evade dying-

The map consists of 4 or 5 platforms all connected with ropes, much like HHG without the tiny platforms on sides. They are about 4 character lenghts apart from each other so you can't directly shoot a monster on higher platforms without standing there yourself. What I meant by jumping to the lower platform was that when you have Phoenix summoned, you climb the rope that leads to the highest platform where the boss is. When the boss comes close enough, you jump off from the rope back to the lower platform and if done correctly and close enough, Phoenix will attack the boss and aggro it. I find this to be less risky than climbing up for the first shot to get his attention. All of his magic attacks have kinda long range but only horizontal. You might get hit if you hang on the rope almost all the way up to his platform when he uses his nuke skill, but I can't confirm it. It does look like it has the biggest range though. Oh, and one attack he does is like a blue ball that follows you for a while but won't come all the way down to the second highest platform where you go place puppet. And the seduce animation isn't purple, more like a yellow circle that appears on him. The range on it isn't that big so shouldn't be too big of a problem. No clue about spawn time either.

Ah, I see. Sorry for my earlier repeated questions, very curious about this boss. Almost seems too good to be true, giving what, 50, 60%? :O I would probably test if you can get hit on the rope when I get around to it. That's how I killed lilynouche when I didn't have enough hp to take the ice strike attack, climbing the rope to make sure you have its attention and then placing a puppet. I guess it might get annoying, if the boss doesn't come over and the phoenix/frostprey method seems to work much better. I'm just scared us archer's unconventional methods may attract a large amounts of ksers, but at least most classes can't kill this massive hubbulub :D
