Karstan as endgame weapon?

Hello, I've been reading guides on how to make a Dexless Aran and they all state to have all / most of your equips be Dex to have enough accuracy to hit higher level monsters. But I'm thinking of another build...What if I, instead of having all dex equips, only have like dex earings and bottom, and the rest be all str equips (Top, Cape), and rely on the accuracy from the Karstan to hit monsters. With the increased Str from not having dex equips, would my damage be on par/higher than a dexless with all dex equips, equipping something like a karstan or Arcglaive? Btw, I have a Zhelm and Dep star, and 25k nx to fund myself.

[/quote] That's not really the answer I'm looking for :/ Okay so, one person has all Str equips (But dex earrings and bottom) but has a pretty well scrolled Maple karstan at, lets say, level 150. Another person has all dex equips, but has a, okay scrolled, Crimson Arcglaive. Which is stronger? Both are Dexless.

How are you supposed to compare a karstan with an arcglaive? Arcglaives start with 17 more att...

The karstan comes with 35 acc too .. so you can change most of your dex quips into str/atk, this will probably make up for some of the missing atk .

[/quote] the one with the higher attack weapon, meaning most likely the arcglaive, or some other non-dex needing slower warrior weapon. a dexless warrior would completely fail if it has to use an accuracy weapon as an end-game weapon. as you add more and more str it contributes less and less to your attack range meanwhile the guy using say a reverse PA will do better

If you have a 130+ karstan you should be fine. Edit: oh wait 125 is max but 125 should be fine too.

So do you guys think I should stick with the conventional build, with all dex equips so I can equip an Arcglaive in the end?

If you got a 120+ youd be fine with a karstan, but that would be a lot of money and you could just find a better arcglaive with that. Also Arcglaives look better. Yea I think you should switch to get an arcglaive because the probability of finding the type of karstan you are looking for is close to none.

This build has been thought of a lot and is very wrong. First off, STR equips cost more to purchase/make for e.g.: DEX overalls cheaper than STR overalls Most PAC's scrolled with STR Are expensive by 20m~50m than the DEX scrolled PAC's if we're talking about 3-4att 6~10STR/DEX. There are no STR earrings thefore more advantage of DEX to the dexless build. ---------------- There are more examples of this but I'm too lazy. As for an endgame wpn, I wouldn't suggest the karstan unless you dun have the right fund. A nice endgame for people with 200m- fund would be 100~102att karstan. As for people with 400m+ I would suggest the Crimson Arcglaive but have to take in consideration that it needs 100Dex to be equipped so if ur a dexless think twice.
