Has any BM/MM tried soloing this boss?

Royal Guard Type S - I've seen in forums that BM's/MM's might have a chance at soloing this but it has 55k KB. How would that work? If anyone is going to attempt could you make a vid and post it here?

It's touch is probably over 10k easily. and ull need about 8k to survive it's magic attack It's prolly best suited for warriors (or superwashed ranged attackers)

It's in Neo City, last map at the top IIRC. A few bowmen over at Sleepywood have soloed it. Touch is 17k~ or so.

its magic dmg is 7.5k and touch 18-19k the KB is too high, my strafes can't kb it :T only snipe can

Obviously a MM can kill it. You're supposed to make the chandelier hit it. Royal Guard : Level: 160 HP: 200,000,000 MP: 50,000 Avoid: 100 Knockback: 55,000 EXP: 19,375,000 Found in the Blaze Break PQ located at the entrance of the Roppongi Mall in 2102. The party has to drop multiple Chandeliers to kill it quickly. Chandelier : Level: 165 HP: 100,000 MP: 1,000 Avoid: 200 Knockback: 55,000 EXP: 0 Players instantly die upon touching Chandelier. The Party has to knock this Chandelier down to the Royal guard to have it do 25 million damage to it. It has extremely high avoid so an archer is essential.

[/quote] Sorry to break it to ya, there's no chandelier in gms JMS =/= GMS OT: it does 17k damage and 14k magic. And a marksman posted an ss a week ago on basil. Edit: Nexon dramatically nerfed his avoid. I'm sure about 55?

I find it silly how nexon brings out bosses that only warriors or super washed characters can survive. So really for the poor part of maple we should all make warriors if we wanna boss. @above lol 15x bm tank shiet pinned it down?

[/quote] Having high hp and having to tank things is what being a warrior is all about, and its not as easy as you think we need more hp because touch damage always seems to be alot higher when it comes to bosses. Nexon brings a new boss that warriors can shine on this is a good thing the only other one I can think of is BF and bowmen and sins can still solo that. Not to mention you guys allready get angeo. I was really pissed off that they nerfed bargamo(or however you spell it) so this is nice, but his touch damage is still insane even for a warrior to survive, I have 17k hp with hb and I washed 25 times allready. Sorry about my rant but it just annoys me that I make a warrior to have high hp at high lvls for bossing and find out you cant shine many places and its still as hard to stay alive as ranged characters and then have someone act like we get everything >.>

Apparently, they summon a puppet at the platform below and fire away while the boss is distracted. No need to pin.

Throw Puppet on the extreme side on the platform below, well not extreme but far enough from the center of the platform you are standing on. The boss or monster will hug the ledge so it won't trample you. Not a warrior boss since it has 100 avoid.
