I mean really. Before it used to be buy low sell high. Most likely, scrolls. I knew gacha used to be the little method some used to make money quickly, but after today I don't even know anymore, it seems like the ONLY way. Scrolls used to be the hot commodity, but now even they are useless and the only valuable ones come from, yea .. gacha. The regular scrolls that don't come from gacha sell for next to nothing and are so unpopular its hard to even find one to buy low and then sell high. Add to that the retarded invention of taxes! Seriously, taxes literally takes your hard-earned money and swallows it into a deep abyss of nothingness. It literally goes no where! Avoiding your pocket at all costs! "Hey idiot! Why not just buy the items people are getting from gacha and resell?" I'm poor! I've been poor since the day I started this game and I will be poor if I don't get a solution. I don't have money to start with in the first place and the only way I thought of getting money was to use the old school method, but clearly that's dead. I borrowed 20m from my friend to help buy a Z. Helm, but I was short some so I thought I'd just buy and resell for an hour or so. WRONG! It ain't that easy. Let alone possible. No one even buys things first of all, FM is just filled with a bunch of sellers. One way path if you will. You could stand for hours spamming your product only to have the occasional.. "Show me." -shows- "Nvm." Even if I do manage to get my Z. Helm I'll have NO money meaning I can't train and reach my 120 goal and I'll have my friend hounding me for 20m constantly. A few months ago I was excited to sell my chaos scroll that I luckily found. WOW! My first 100m! And then what? Idiots invaded. Nexon claimed to save the day and everyone stopped spamming the forums with their complaints. But now, where are chaos scrolls? Freaking 40m a piece! I could rant for paragraphs, but I'd rather not blur your vision with a wall of text. If you have advice, please share. I really would like to be rich some time...

You contradicted yourself. That tax is what's keeping inflation in check; it's what's keeping scroll prices (or all prices, for that matter) from deflating more. Those people are out there making money and you're in here QQing. Guess who's going to get rich?

It stood the same for me.... try making a new character. get it to lvl 40, took me only 3 days, then do the scroll quest should give you a head start

it's not that hard . i moved my way from being unknown and poor to well known and .. sorta rich first, depending on the amount of money you have, go for anything scrolled, like bathrobes, equips, and then move onto ITCG . once your really rich , MTS stuff, and MTS merch 10k nx at a time. hope i helped.

Best head start you can get is by getting nx. It would be alot more fair if this game wasent free, but it is. And nexon needs to make money somehow.

By poor.. how poor are you? I know some people that started with ores rselling and now they merch 10 atk+ wg's. Buy low sell high works! but you need patiance + store permit, its nearly impossible w/o permit unless you have a really wanted item. Don't forget that pots dont cost that much and monster drop cover them up at most cases, you shouldn't aim for stuff you cant afford. Just play the game have fun and if you did managed to get some meso then go ahead and upgrade your stuff! Train at Gallo's all the way to 120 if you can, they have awosome drops that might make you rich (Gfa/Bottom Dex 60%).

And nexon needs to make money somehow. [/quote] It doesn't take much, aside from some dedication, knowledge, and hard work. I started with almost no mesos and no NX and I've managed to do very well.

Thanks for feedback. I think my main problem is lack of patience because of frustration. I'm always afraid to stop training and start merchanting because I feel like I'm falling behind, but now I really have no choice. I'll definitely look into permits though.
