whnever i clikc my maplestory icon is goes straight to the site...did nexon do somthing where u can ONLY start the game from the site or somthing....HELP

Yes, that's the way it works now. I believe the only time that you can start the game by clicking on the MapleStory icon itself is when the official site is down for maintenance, update, etc. There was something about this in the new patch notes... EDIT: Sorry, I just went around to look for the exact notes on the new info for clicking on the game icon... I can't find it.

Option FACt: Go to the Website, click Start Game, Log in, Click it agian, it will show a small bar(you have to download sumthing before it will show) then you get into maplestory

Right click the icon, click Properties, then in Target, add "GameLaunching" after the link Like, "C:NexonMapleStoryMaplestory.exe GameLaunching" Btw, Basil filters out forward slashes, so...

Yes they did change it so you have to launch it from the site. BUT! There is another way if you go into your maplestory folder and click the Game Launcher and then Start Game it will take you straight to the in game log in screen.
