Marksman-Trying to solo zakum >:O

As the title says, I really want to try to solo zakum as soon as I max snipe, which is 146. Pretty much inspired by SniperApogee's zakum solo, cept my range is ridiculously lower and no apples D: The thing is, I have around 18m left. Never had I ever had more then 60m in cash, besides that one time that I didn't have a zakum helmet, attack work glove, or any equip that wasn't 100%'ed. Anyways, I have one gelt that was from a cwkpq that I plan to use, but other then that I'd just rather use warrior pots or something :P I'll have to double check my range, but approximately how long would a run take? With around 45xx hp at 146, what pots should I use? Ginger ales is what I was planning to use, and I realize that without apples I'll probably be spending like 12m on 4k ginger ales. But with hp like that, would it last? Thanks, any feedback is welcome :D

I figured thats why people used ales for zakum, and I just realized I'll probably have to bring about 1000 sorcs :/ Couldn't i tank 2 hits from the arms, and such? That's why I suggest cheese but ales seem to be better in all cases. Anyways, based on the comments I won't be able to solo it. I guess I'll try duo'ing and see how it goes :/ Ninja'ed! I meant to say lowest level marksman* to solo it. Of course others would obliterate my time :P @sweetmapleI'll probably waste a good 15m on pots, and you can only hold one zakum helmet at a time. Most good drops from zakum need to be karma'ed so I probably won't gain anything.

Well, it would be a waste of time and your precious 16 mil, unless u are planing to use 6 hours, 3k + ales, and some wheels, it pretty much impossible. I suggest you merchant and get some good stuff and try solo it at lv 16x.

hmm, all my guildies would want in on the action, and I don't think I can make enough mules that are high leveled enough to sign (don't have the time for that). guess i'll stick to solo bossing Pap and ToT and Pianus (if I find one) I'll signup for you ChibiCross, so when you're ready I'll be one of your party members~

since long ago, i've been trying to organize to do what ChibiCross is thinking on doing. i'll also have snipe maxed at lvl 146, but i'll get some more MMB first, so i won't go till 148-149. i don't plan on appling all the way, but given my merching skills, friends that owe me and whatnots, i'd say i can get 6-8 apples, plus the 3 gelts i own already. this thread has enlightened much on it, but i still got some questions, given almost the same conditions as ChibiCross (no NX to extend slots, around 20m for pots not counting apples) - i have 4.8k HP at lvl 141, so i'd assume i'll have around 4.95-5k at lvl 148-149. is that a good HP? - what pots should i use, reindeer milks, ales or other potion, considering my HP? i have no pet, but i barely lag, so i think i'd be okay using 2 classes of potions.

[/quote] Pretty sure compared to most marksman, that's awesome hp to zakum at :O Anyways, I still don't suggest using two types of potions, especially at 3rd body. It starts to get crazy hectic from what I've heard by the summons, even more so when attempting to solo without apples. Of course, you could always try to use cheese/reindeer and by piercing the mobs. Other then that, you could use reindeer by taking 2 hits first from the arms. Although using ales might save some space, if I remember correctly and they stack by 150's.

[/quote] well, i'm an HP hoar to begin with :P i've never liked getting OHKO'd, but disliked being melee F3 i'm used to using 2 potions since i've never gone into a run using just one kind, be it duos/trios/6-man/12-man/30-man runs. i barely lag, that's why i think i could manage it. of course, the summons would make my life hard lol. i've also learned to wait 2 hits from arms to save pots (i've got too many untradeable stuffs on my USE <_<) i think i'll save my few apples and gelts for arms (one) and the rest for 2nd and 3rd body, even if 1st takes a bit to go down. i think i'll have room for ~3k ales (19 slots), putting aside 9 slots for other stuff (apples, 300 all cures, untradeables, town scrolls and war elixers). the good side is that i doubt i'll do it anytime soon (university FTL <_<) so i got quite a bit of time to get all what's needed to go. heck, i'm even considering farming power elixers, even tho they stack less than ales, but i already have like 600
