Error Code -.40. Installation Failed (11207,0)

This is what happens when I try and install Maple. It gets to Effect.wz 6 files out of 29 and does this. Anyone know the problem?

Same thing happens on my laptop.

same thing happens with mine lol... i think it's because you didn't delete the old nexon folders yet. i think you have to uninstall everything before installing the new one. i would try it but my computer keeps saying i don't have "permission to delete".

Is it the Error Code -40 Installation Failed?14402,32? Because if it is and u want to play maplestory, First go to C:Nexon Folder and click on maplestory folder, and then double click the game launcher. THEN, you have to click the play button and put in your username and pass like the old times , but you dont have to put the pin code.But u have to put ur PIC of course. All done. Spread this around if you like. :0 . Give me some thx. xD

Give me some thx. xD [/quote] thanks, this helped me(: @TS: i was getting your exact error at first, but then i saved to desktop instead of program files (or whatever your default settings is). when you install it asks you where you want to save it to, try putting it to your desktop instead and see if that works. worked for me.
