You know me as MastaSella, but you may call me Dave if you wish Now, I'm tired of seeing the same questions about where to train asked by Clerics and Priests every day. Since the guides are a little outdated and most people post new threads without reading the other ones already answered, I've decided to make this small guide on the best monsters to train on. ---------------------Cleric Training Places--------------------- 30 - 40 Monster Carnival Party Quest Zombie Mushrooms Jr. Wraiths Chronos 40 - 50 Pyramid Party Quest Monster Carnival Party Quest Platoon Chronos Master Chronos Zombie Lupins Wraiths 51 - 70 Monster Carnival Party Quest 2 Ludibrium Maze Party Quest (better with 2x Drop) Slimies Selkie Jrs. Hoodoos or Voodoos Simple right? ---------------------Priest Training Places--------------------- Here's where it gets a little complicated. If you're maxing Shining Ray first 70 - 80 Magatia Party Quest (Starts at level 71) Slimies Selkie Jrs. Mr. Anchors Twisted Jesters Death Teddies 80 - 89 Galloperas (Solo or you may party with 2 - 3 *people, but you will not receive Party EXP until level 89) Twisted Jesters (Solo or with a party) *Arans and Dawn Warriors are great to party with due to their mobbing capabilities. 89 - 120 Galloperas (Partying with 2 - 3 *people is better but soloing is still good) *Arans and Dawn Warriors are great to party with due to their mobbing capabilities. Dreamy Ghosts (Himes) (Solo or with a partner at 95+) Grim Phantom Watches (Solo or with another attacker) [See Xylit's quote at bottom of thread for more details] You can HS Arch Mages at Skeles, Newts, and Gallops and leech the EXP. Leeching levels: Skeles ~ 108 Newts ~ 105 Gallops ~ 89 If you're maxing Holy Symbol first 70 - 80 Magatia Party Quest (Starts at level 71) Slimies Selkie Jrs. I just wanted to put the best places up, not every available place there is to train. I just made it so be patient. It still needs some tweaks here and there. |

Me lovely grims </3 They really aren't that shabby for exp if you find a good partner to split the map with, i think i'll make a vid for how to do the grims map when i get some time :@ i found the map fun and the exp fantastic. I was getting something like 4~5m exp per hour on 1x at grims depending on how much i chatted. |

How much %/hr were you getting and at what level? I go by % :S |

I never counted %/H, take a random level between 120->150 and you can calc my %/H yourself, gms got that changed exp curve so i wouldnt know the %/H for you. The exp is great. |

[/quote] %/hr is a good enough estimate here. I just need an idea of how much EXP you get at the place to see if it's a good to train at. I'm only doing Cleric and Priest training areas. So no 120+. "Great" is subjective. What level would you recommend people to start training at Grims? |

[/quote] I'd recommend grims when you 1: Hit them 100% 2: Got SR maxed 3: Got ER Maxed (Optional but helps a lot) 4: Got dragon maxed (Optional but helps) Or around 100+ I mean that you can figure out my %/H by using the exp from 120->150 since that's when i got 4-5m/H on 1x. Lemme calc my %/H at level 110. I was getting something like 15~20%/H on 1x at grims at level 110 if i remember right. And i decided to make a vid when i got time, which is like this sunday or next sunday. I'll post it here soon 'nuff. |
