I don't know if this has already been addressed or found out, and I apologize if it is. Most of us know about the Magic Guard Glitch (the one that doesn't let you max out Magic Guard) Well I finally got around to finishing my quest this morning and this is what I found http://i346.photobucket.com/albums/p424/Zionrelives/MagicGuardglitch.jpg Once again, I apologize if its already known, but if you go Magic Guard first during 3rd Mastery, you will be able to max out Lightning and Magic Guard. I suggest Evans do this until the Glitch is fixed. Read this thread if you do not know what I am referring to.

yeah, i lvled to 40 last night, i got the new skill set, went back to apply the rest of my points for the 3rd set, and it wouldnt let me max out magic guard, and i had already bought the magic guard skill book, i was like WTF. stuck with lvl 17 magic guard.

Well if thats the case, @above poster, at least the points will still be there for the future when it is fixed. Im only 34 on my guy so I prolly can start doing mg now so i don't get stuck i guess?

[/quote] I won't be able to confirm this until my guildie (who did put 1 point on Lightning upon advancing) reaches 4th Mastery. @above, yes, in this patch currently, there is no way to obtain it without NX means.

my lightning is 19 but how do i even put points on magic guard without the mastery book? O_o kinda off topic but did anyone notice the change between lv 5 and 6 magic guard/magic booster/critical magic(skills that require cs book) is bigger than any other lv magic guard is supposed to be +3% and 10seconds longer every lv but between lv5 and 6 it jumps from 25% to 37% and 150seconds to 200seconds is that another way of tricking u to buy the book
