Why do people miss the old MS?

IMO that MS totally sucked . All you could do was grind, grind, grind until level 30 only to find out that you have to do more grinding. That is exactly why I quit the game a couple of years ago. It became so hella boring and slow that I had to train at one good spot for 5-10 levels straight. Look at the new MS! There are new classes to enhance the fun! Cygnus Knights were added for the casual gamers. Legend classes were added for extra power and fun! There are quests that can get you from 1-30 within a weekend and larger variety of training spots so you won't get bored training at the same spot for 5-10 levels! Now why the he'll would you not want an easier game? Don't give me all of that "2lazy2level" crap. By simply playing the game, you have just become lazy. Also don't give me crap about the "terrible" community. Ever since Nexon made more IP restrictions, there are more people that can understand English. There were KSers and damage whores even back in the old times too. Who else DOESN'T miss the old MS?

I just miss all the fun pq times I had at luidibrium and how exploring around as a low level was fun ;o. Other than that MS SUCKED Well content wise and protection that is.

I mean, if you go waaayy back to the first year or so of MS, no one grinded. The people were a lot nicer and whatnot, and no one really cared about damage, because everyone had a screwed up build anyways. Yeah, there were scammers, but not as many. It was really fun, and everyone was just trying stuff out, like I remember BW clerics being pretty popular back then. I like the new MS, but everyone's a lot more greedy nowadays >.<

The new ms is better and will always be. Zhelms used to be like 500mil back then b4 4th job came out. But all these enhancements and tweaks and including SoK reduced the price greatly. NLC was also a great addition, offered valuable training spots, pots that are cost wise, an quests that give great rewards.

I miss Ludi PQing in the Cold Winters and whatnots. Now it's dead, people are grinding to 200 in one day... It's not fun anymore. The Old MS gave me a feeling that I can never fell again until another version of MS is released in English. You can never experience those times unless you were really there and doing something fun...

I liked it as a first timer, but since I played too much ... i dont enjoy it anymore? Because first timer is always good.

Its funny, because nowadays there are more DMG whores than there were before... just saying :D and yeah before in the old old old ms, i remember it was an accomplisment to get to 30 :D! But now with more quests, it takes me 1-2 days to get to 30.... not even playing for long o-o. I only liked the old ms for its "non crowdedness" and laggyness for sureee. But, i like the new ms now since people just starting ms has an easier time leveling and experiencing the higher levels faster :S

There are other reasons why I liked the old ms. I am not a fan of grinding. and in the old ms there were some other ways to level instead of training 5% per hour. T_T

Most of the new classes are rip offs from the old ones. People were a lot nicer, no one cared about damage, ksing was minimal and people partied instead. The limited amount of training spots allowed people to work together and interact, make friends. Now it's grind grind grind, talk a bit, see someone walk into your map and think they're going to ks and tell them to leave, get called a noob, and get ks'd. Don't give you crap about the terrible community? With your support being as weak as that? Hell no. In an English based game, what in the world makes you think "people speak English now" is a valid point in any way? If people don't speak English, they usually leave before lv20 since they can't do anything. Also, read what I said earlier about ksing. As for damage whores, are you kidding me? Lol, pretty much every equip you wore had to be found on your own, where are you going to get godly items? Especially with the extremely limited scroll supply.(~3-5 average throughout one's entire maple career) Something else that makes no sense, playing maple makes you lazy? What? Don't talk about something you obviously know nothing about.

You want en easier game? Go play a freaking P izza S lice. Games are supposed to be challenging, deal with it. The new classes are horrible. Im sure people enjoy paying for their skills (Evan) or tapping one button level 1-200 (Aran) or having the same job as original but with a few different moves (CK)

The community was way nicer back then, and leveling was hard as hell. The accomplishment you get from getting to level 30 was just amazing. Maplestory is so issue oriented these days; nx, leeching, ability to manipulate economy easily, etc.
