I like this video. It's true about how games consume your time but i can control myself. If you can control yourself, you can actually stick to your REAL life more often.

I'll do like a 4 hour grind about maybe once every 2~4 weeks, the rest of the time I just log my character on and leave him in the market while I go to college, or to a party Etc. It may say you have been playing for 8hours we suggest you take a break, but I haven't been at my computer for about 7hours 30Mins of that time. I do make time sometimes to play especially if I want to make a good grind, but the way I make time is by finishing my studies early or not watching TV in between home works. I never make time by cutting parties, or days out with friends/girlfriends short. So what I'm trying to say is, you can easily have a life, friends, a girlfriend & do well in school without stopping the things that make you happy. whether that is a game, art or movie making. These things are purely enjoyment & don't waste time as long as you don't LET them.

Haven't seen this before, but it's obvious that this guy had made some real mistakes in his life, and I can assure you that very few people here will bring themselves to that. I may not have to most amazing social life, but heck, I'm spending all of tommorow with two friends and going to an eighteenth birthday party thats a friend of my friends. I don't think it matters if your a gaming addict like myself. I can wake up in the morning, spend a day gaming the ENTIRE day, and the next day spend an entire day with my friends. I've grown up with technology, that (and I don't think I'm kidding myself when I'm saying this) I've fully embraced it as part of a normal life - the trick is to find a balance. I study and get straight A's, and I've spent a good four hours studying today, buddhism and catholicism as well as the los alamos reserach laboratory and basic nuclear physics. I'm 6'3 and weigh 93kilograms- a little over, but I'm not unfit. I came 8th place out of 20 people in an 800m run- and that's saying something considering that I don't do cross country or anything of the sort. I'm about to go for a 1km jog not under any pressure at all. As long as you balance real life, health and socializing, addictive gaming is completely fine. However, you may see a friend once a month outside of school, and you can essentially "kid" yourself that you're living a normal life when you aren't- which is what I believe this video is trying to highlight. Make the judgement. Are you really balancing your life out well enough? Or are you kidding yourself that you are so you can deny the fact that you need to do something about it. None of what is written here is a lie.

Once they hit level 35 or so, I give them like a couple hundred thousand mesos (because they've done me a service, and I feel bad) and let them go. Then I repeat. It's beautiful, because they reach level 35 in like a couple hours. No rep mules. Pretty awesome. I never have to wait for another 2X event, ever again.
