Apparently you can't max MG when you level past 40. Dunno if it's the same for thunder skill-thingy. Have you dont all the required quests?

I think you need the mastery book from CS.

I think its because your allready in 5th job you have too add the points right when you get them.

Wth, are you serious? If i pass 40 I can't increase magic guard anymore? : mine is at lvl 5 and I was thinking of buying the skill book if i go past 70 or so, when i really need MG...
