Every time i would meet a high level person like around 130+, they've seemed to be very polite and even thought if i need help they are willing to help. Also when i was at gallos this lvl 200 helped me with the quest when all the other ppl just dissed me and made me cc. Discuss :D.

Eh it goes both ways ive met complete DBags at all levels of the game. I have a dexless NL and recently started a reg dex sin for kicks and giggles and the lower levels at CPQ just assume im some nub until they either ask for my BWG stats or see my damage.

There are generally two types of high level people. The ones who spent a LOT of time training to get that level, and the ones who achieved that level quickly. The ones who achieved the level slowly over a long course of time are almost always nice people with a firmer understanding of the difficulties of the hell levels, when their new skills are too new (low SP) to be effective, and their older skills are too weak to be efficient for training. I think this enables the person to have some empathy for lower level characters, thus they can relate better. The other type of characters are the ones who gained their levels quickly. Usually this was done by attaining Meso by purchasing large quantities of Gacha, selling the spoils, and then using the proceeds to purchase leeching, and well scrolled items. These people feel their level is an entitlement, that it somehow is proof of ones superiority. Because of this mentality, this type of person is more common to be the one who KS's people they feel are less entitled [via lower damage or lower level]. This is most evident at places like Anego, BF and other bosses. The problem is that while the former is the most common type of High Level character, (so any random high level player you run into will more then likely be a very nice person) the latter is still far too common. Since they are the ones that stand out the most, they become the ones people remember; unfortunately they are the ones used to judge high levels. ---- On the other side of the coin, when 100+ low level people a day ask a high level to donate mesos or items, it comes as little to no surprise that High Levels tend to ignore those low levels, and that ironically leads to the assumption that High Levels are jerks. In reality the incessant pestering for mesos and items is the cause. If they give money to you, they are obligated to give money to every single person that begs. This is impossible as well as impractical, so if you get ignored, dont take it personally... you are probably number 85 and the person is tired of making up excuses. So if you dont want to get ignored, your going to have to do something more clever and witty to warrant a worthwhile donation. Dont just say "Meso plz". Say something else, like... "Ill lick your character on my monitor for 20k mesos" or something else that might be just entertaining enough to make you worth that 20k donation. You gotta make the high level feel like you deserve it. Oh, and by the way, playing the hacked victim card will almost never get you mesos.
moniiguy98 : Seriously. What do you call a "Bad Noob Range" or a "Good Pro Range" Pro start at level 9x-13x+ People under are noobs. Lol jk but this is Kinda true. I like to be nice to others even though I haven't been past level 37 xD. I haven't met a single jerk past 13x and yes, I met a lot of 13x in Ludi, Hene, and HeneHG1. I think it depends what they have learned and all that =. Imo to make this short 85% of the nice people in the " Maple Population " are 13x -sigh-, -Waits to get Flamed- =
Honestly , to me a "Noob" means that you are an un-experienced player that JUST started play. And wtf , judging the level range for a "Pro" level is really stupid.

@above You can't say that the etitlement of earning those gacha tickets weren't cheap. Money doesn't grow on trees, and stealing daddy's credit card requires skill too.

Well in my opinion the high level characters usually have alot of NX. meaning that they are probablly rich in real life and that they were raised with manners. The noobs are all those little 8 year olds that have no clue what to do with the game. and just going around the Freemarket just being d0uch3s

Not a likable quality. On another note, a large portion of high levels get NX through MTS since they're so rich with boss runs and such,

Most people dont MTS merch but with decent scrolling of common equips e.g. earrings, robes, shoes can get quite a bundle of NX they just choose not to.

I think a lot of us are just super-bored. All there is to do is boss or train...it's nice to go help some lower-leveled players with quests and such. Makes us actually feel useful, when most of the time all we can do is twiddle our thumbs until the next CWKpq. Not saying that these people don't do it out of genuine kindness, but it's more of a product of boredom than anything.

Its not what level in maplestory someone is that makes them a nice person... theres an equal number of a-holes that are low levels that there are that are high levels.
