| Reason #1: Maple Community Sucks I'm one of those people that have been playing on and off for some time now since beta. Frankly, I must say that the Maple community has been deteriorating over the years. From what I remembered, the word "noob" was thrown around far less back then. Now, the word "noob" is being thrown around as often as the f word, heck I even hear noob more than the f word. What I am trying to get at is that more and more disrespectful people have started to play maple, making the maple experience, as a whole, far less appealing. For example, I was training today at sakura cellions. A spearman comes in and starts killing around the map. This is around 10pm PST in windia, and at this time, there was an empty map at almost any channel. I continue to kill around the map while the spearman lurks around. This guy could not even hit the cellions much less do at least 100 dmg to it. Yet he continued to lurk around and I continued with my business. At one point, instead of politely asking me to cc, or let him kill or politely communicating with me, he starts calling me names and throwing words around. This does not make sense to me whatsoever. This guy comes into my map, attempts to ks me, and when he can't he starts calling me a f-noob and such. *sigh* people these days. I think everything about maple was enjoyable, up until the point where they started airing maple commercials and they increased their spending on advertisements. As a result of the advertisements, more little kids have started to play and they usually use CAPS ALL DAY LONG and have nothing else to say but offensive words. I'm not saying all little kids are bad, but I do think that the advertisements attracted many unwanted people into maplestory. Customer Service SUCKS I don't think I have to elaborate on this any longer. False bans and no response when you try to contact them is absolutely UNACCEPTABLE. PERIOD. *Edit* When I think of more I'll add more, or if you guys have anything else to add, post it below, not guarantee I'll get to it though* |
