When som1 tries to scam, and then fails

So i was getting a nimble wristguard for my friend. This person has a 0 str one, 0 slots... (failed chaos?) Well, he offers me 20mil... I say he's a rip off artist and leave. He retrades and then puts it back up and says this is suuuuuuuuuuuuuper raaaaaare Look it is +3! (Defense?) Uhhh, i say nty and he says are you suuuuuuuure cuz i have millions of people trying to buy this shield. I say no and cc. He stalks me, telling me are you suuure you don't want it? I seriously get pissed, blacklist, and then mass defamed him with my friends for trying to scam me O_O Yeahh, why are there such fail scammers out there

He wasn't really trying to scam you, just trying to merch/rip you off..

He was trying to rip you off. Scamming would be more like telling you he can dupe your mesos if you gave him 20mil.

errr Maple community really bended the definition of scamming. Attempting to rip someone off is in the scamming category. He wasn't as fail as the scammer I met. I was buying a 22 atk scg, he put in a 19 atk scg. He kept saying "HURRY HURRY" and doing the trade--> cancel thing as a "game." I ended up putting in one digit less. I wasn't the one trying to scam, but really, if he is attempting to scam he should at least be smarter =. In the end I gave it back to him for the same price I bought it for +400m, so I gave it back to him for around 600m. Jerk move on my part, but I could've run off with it entirely. I was feeling nice though.

[/quote] well what happened to you actually IS a scam. that whole "hurry hurry!" thing is usually a scam where the guy puts in one less digit or a similar looking item. ripping someone off however, isn't a scam. it's just taking advantage of them being naive.
