Ranger VS Sniper- Which is the Better for Me?

So I was thinking about making a Bowman. I can't decide between Ranger and Sniper. I want: Fast Leveling Good Training Spots Can Get Accepted Into PQs With Not To Much Difficulty Moderate DMG (NOT DMG HOAR) Not Very Expensive Can Boss Effectively Fun (In Your Opinions) Thanks!

between sniper and ranger for you, id suggest sniper. the only real difference is with freeze and more freeze usage instead of puppet, and 4rth job, when snipers become better at monsters as opposed to bossing. Both are accepted equally. snipers are WAYYYY cheaper. Id actually choose corsair though.

Sniper and Ranger don't have much differences at those points. Only a bit at 4th job. Just take the one which style and attacks you like most. The biggest difference is probably the price of equips: Crossbows arr really cheap.

Yup if it's between xbow/bow, you should take xbow. Very, very cheap compared to a BM.

Sniper. Crossbowmen are much more money efficient, above par damage even with neutral equips, and more fun than hunter imo.

Only the weapons are cheaper, for the same level of scrolling. It's possible to spend the same amount of mesos on a bow and on a crossbow, but the crossbow should have considerably higher attack power. All other equip are shared. The reason I gave that answer is because he was looking for "A class that's good in every way", with this being another "which should I choose?" thread when there have probably been thousands like it before.

if ur planning on going all they way to like lvl 180 or 200 and u have some good mesos hit the ranger but if 120 is kinda where ur gonna stop most likely go sniper they destroy mobs bescause they have stronger weps for cheeper.

Good Training Spots many good training spots, almost all the undead heal-able monsters have a decent, if not awesome HP:EXP ratio Can Get Accepted Into PQs With Not To Much Difficulty from early stages Clerics are wanted in PQ's Moderate DMG (NOT DMG HOAR) heal dmg not the best, but it is a mob attack, which aids in lvl-ing speed, which is the main reason of having 'good' dmg Not Very Expensive probably the cheapest classes out there, all you need is a wand/staff, and you're all set to go Can Boss Effectively they get into boss runs, if thats what he meant, always wanted for res, heal, HS(3rd), HS(4th), and bless on a smaller note Fun (In Your Opinions) is subjective, i personally love my Bishop. i find it 'fun' coz the exp bar fills up FAST! gives me a sense of achievement. although the TS's initial question was between Ranger and Sniper, this would be a possible 3rd option. :D
