Whats this IP ban?

I hear a lot of people are getting this so called IP ban, what is it?

Your IP is blocked from the game. Meaning your internet access won't work (or something like that) on maplestory.

its a ban strictly on that computer. the computer that's been IPbanned cannot create anymore accounts for maplestory. and probaly nexon. sucks. -i sell IP changes, but i only sell to those whom carry PayPal :X msg me on my myspace if interested; myspaceDOTcomSLASH[/LweezyLovesYou]

AHAHHA , its not the computer which gets IP-banned. All Networks have a a IP-ADRESS which is like the adress of ur house...
