Version of Maple Story

Does it really matter what version of MS I'm getting? Or is it really prefered to get the one closest to the country I live in cause I got an account at MS Global but switched countries and went to asia EDIT: Concerning gameplay speed will it be slower if I still play on Maple Global even though I'm farther?

only way to maple is to have the most recent version or else it wont work unless that country is ip blocked

Concerning Speed of gameplay though does it matter?

Distance usually matters as far as speed. When I used to play MSEA from the US, it took ages to pick anything up or move between maps. The only reason I suffered through it was that my GMS version wasn't working for some reason. Once they fixed it though, I went back to GMS (which is a lot closer geographically) and it was WAY faster. The only real way to be sure would be to try it.

It depends on your connection. I play KMS from the US, and the lag is not too bad...probably because my wireless is pretty good. But in some places it does lag a bit.

Although its going to be stressfull downloading. I'll probably try out Global again just to be sure.
