What's better? Lowluk or lukless bishop?

I'm gonna make a mage and I have no idea where to cap the luk... Tell meh plx?

if your going to be able to afford a 20luk sauna 15luk cape htp and zhelm then you should be able to have a base luk of 4, if not then cap it @ 40

Lol well I'm not sure about the 15luk cape since I got no idea how much would that be but yeah I think I could afford all of that. I don't know what kind of staff or wand would I be using though. Only Maple stuff? or is there good engame lukless weps?

It depends on how much funding you have. If you are heavily funded the cap your luck at 23. If not then go luckless

People with Base LUK of 4 can manipulate it to any number. It depends on your fundings. YOU DON'T NEED TO COMPROMISE INT FOR LUK!

If not then go luckless [/quote] Stop posting random numbers that you don't know the meaning of. 23 is the amount of luk that a lukless mage will have at 200 as a result of 999 cap. 23 is NOT how much luk a character should start with. If you are "heavily funded" then you don't need ANY luk since you should be able to wear a doomsday with 4 base. Lukless is the best choice no matter how much money you are starting with.

Lukless is when you scroll for Int, and use Maple weapons (or in A/M case, Ele Wands). OT: You want to be Low Luck, and wear a Doomsday Staff. Get as much Luk as you can from HT, Luk Targa, Belt, Ring, Glasses, Overall and Base Stats from Gloves/Shoes as possible. Cap your Luck with what you anticipate you can get out of the above, and still manage to have 80 Luck. Scrolling your Targa, Glove, Purple Adventurer Cape, Shield, and Doomsday for Int/Matk. I'm pretty sure that's the best combination you can make. EDIT: I guess Yellow Adventurer scrolled for Luk is better than Purple Adventurer scrolled for Matk. Assuming with the extra two slots, you can beat out that extra 5 Matk, in Luk.

You shouldn't be compromising INT for LUK. Lukless turns a blind side to the benefits of LUK from items such as HTP+Targa Helm (I can guarentee, a perfect MoonLight/Starlight is better than a perfect Sauna)

There more than enough slots for more INT [/quote] Lilin's Ring is All Stats+3, not +1 o-o Ideally, you could use the Maker and make an Overall for Int or Luk (or maybe use the Maker to add an Adv. Luk Crystal on an Overall, then scroll it for Int), if you can't afford a M.Atk/Int Shield, you could always go for a Luk Shield, large difference in prices.. but anyway, look at the cost of going a Low-Luk build, not to mention the cost of a DDS. Even a scrolled Wisdom Staff / Shine Wand during this inflation is a fraction of the cost of a clean DDS :/

Go lukless. If you have the money, you can go lukless and still become a dds user >;D (without sacrificing any int equip xD/ base int): -19 luk targa helm -23 luk ht (1 above) -4 base -6 from x3 wisdom rings -3 from a lilins ring -4 from x4 nx rings -8 from makered lv 50 shoes (ones with three luk base) and an adv luk crystal -5 from a makered overall (scroll it for int though and the overall can have 4 base int or so) -8 from a 100%ed black belt for luk There. Now you can go lukless without having to waste potential int on a luk overall/ luk cape/ luk shield and still use a decent dds >;D.

EDIT: I might've interpreted this wrong, if you meant you shouldn't compromise adding base stats from Int to Luk, then I agree. We were talking about scrolling though, in which case you should always scroll Luk over Int (unless you're Lukless). [quote] MPman69 : Lukless = 4 base. [/quote] I'm not arguing semantics, if a Bish is Lukless, it is capped at using a Maple Shine and +Matk/Int equips. If a Bish is Low Luck, it is capped at a Doomsday, and scrolls for Luk.
