K well...i noticed this just today but, any questions about religion are always asked/answered by Christians Or asked about Christianity. There is a handful of Muslims on basil, and i always see atleast one on a religious thread Soooo, lets get some questions out there people! :D Any questions about Islam that you've always wanted to know/ask/confirm? Please no flaming, this is for information, not for arguments

I'm a Muslim myself, and well I've been reading alot of Koran(translated) and well I'd like to see if you can answer some of my questions, why do we kill Muslims who decide to convert to another religion? Why is a woman's opinion worth half that of a man's( I've seen examples of this in court systems in Saudi Arabia). Why is it that while I know Islam is a peaceful religion, are imamm's preaching about killing al kafferoon, but in the koran it says that we should not hate them?

[/quote] It's all about the country in question using the religion as an excuse. None of these people are Muslim, they just call themselves Muslim. Which is also BONUS! sin. LOL

[/quote] It was rather childish of me to let old pent-up anger get the best of me, but no amount of reasoning will deter my dislike for religion as a whole. Regardless, pay no heed to my comments vis-a-vis the thread.

I know the Sharia quite well- Any form the of Sharia that encourages ideologies such that of woman being inferior to men, and execution of disbelievers have been created by the country in question. Sharia means law. The Sharia defined by the Qu'ran and Hadith say nothing about anything you've said.
