Funding an Evan? Harder than before?

I have approx. 400m after I sell my Aran junk. I also have 10k NX which I will karma my zhelm and zakum tree branch over. That's 4k NX left which IDK what to do once Evan comes out. I am planning on going LUKLESS, so what are some good items to last me. I plan on spending no more than 300m. Current Items: Zhelm Zakum Tree Branch

Why waste so much on the worse Legend Class sofar? I would use that 4K NX on Wand and Staff scrolls.

Not planning on self-scrolling my equips. That's always been a bad outcome from experience. I know I need INT earrings, and a cape. How about an overall?

evan is a legend class lol and i don't think you should even try funding it until you actually try it some people say its not even worth it

I've always like mages but I could never get one to a decent level. I want Evan to possibly be my mage, but I've seen videos and is the dragon pretty weak? A LV. 9x evan wasn't hitting more than 3-5k with his dragon.

You don't really need any sort of funding if you go lukless.

Evan's themselves are not one of the heroes that fought the Black Mage personally, he is part of an ancient line of dragon masters that was nearly wiped out by the Black Mage when he fought the legendary heroes.

Wow so is there a point to have a wand/staff? If the dragon is all that fights, what is the attack based on?
