Why doesn't Tempest damage on bosses show?

I was so excited about getting Tempest a few days ago and when I got it, I was like " Yay! Let's go see Tempest's uber strong damage on bosses!" -uses tempest on dodo.. See's HP bar go down but doesn't show the numbers-...FFFFUUUU I know, I kinda sound like a damage hoar but who doesn't like seeing 60k dmg x 4 (Theoretically )

I was wondering y id never see it in vids on youtube. i figured all the other numbers were blocking them out. maybe its like breaks the dmg limit or something? kinda like how you wont see numbers on some things that hit you cause they hit so far above your hp. thats happened to me a few times. mostly upon randomly running into BF below lvl 100. x.x

funny.? whenever i run into bf I(having much less than 10k hp)i see the dmg... i also see the dmg from running into cwk jq poles.. 54k dmg ftw!

Tempest does not damage bosses that are ice immune which dodo is i believe ice resistant
