Well, from the looks of these forums, there's a massive debate between the virtues of HS and SR. It seems both are equally useful. So, I made up this hybrid build that I (plan) to follow. Would it work well? Thanks! Level 70 - Dispel Level 71 - Dispel, Dispel, Mystic Door Level 72 - Elemental Resistance, HS, HS Level 73 - HS, HS, SR Level 74- SR, SR, HS Level 75 - HS, HS, SR Level 76 - SR, SR, HS Level 77 - HS, HS, SR Level 78 - SR, SR, HS Level 79 - HS, HS, SR Level 80 - SR, SR, HS (You can pretty much notice the pattern by now) Level 92 - HS (maxed), SR, SR (maxed) Level 93 to 97 - Dispel (3) Level 98 - Dispel (maxed), ER, ER Level 105 - ER, ER (maxed), Mystic Door Level 106-111 - Mystic Door (3) Level 112 - Mystic Door (3) (Maxed) Level 112-120 - Summon Dragon

Interesting build. But if your gonna get Summon Dragon, I would recommend getting it somewhere earlier in the build. This way it would be useful for longer

What massive debate? It's obvious that maxing SR first is better. The people that say to max HS first were just told to do that by some inexperienced friends in-game or whatever. As for your build, you'd be better off maxing SR first. Neither of the skills would be useful at their levels this way.

maxing HS in the past was for partying purposes, probably at Himes with a 9x+ DK now with the 8:2 exp ratio, priests lose out, so SR is their main soloing skill (except for himes, i think they're suppose to keep healing). With SR, i think you can do pretty well at Galloperas, since you go there at around 8x-ish.

If you really wanted to do HS, you should do SR, SR, HS every level. SR is too important to have only maxed at 92.

I might go 17 SR then HS, because that is when the increase in basic attack per level drops off. I would have maxed HS by the time anyone would want to Gallopera party with me anyway. What do you guys think? >_>;; Probably will just max SR first though.

There is no debate whether to go SR or HS first. SR first is amazing exp. Go to Gallops at lvl 75, you get 75%/hour. (I did)

[/quote] You can party train at Gallops once you are level 89. You should have maxed or close to maxed HS by then even if you completely max SR first.
