What's the point of getting circumcised? I got circumcised when I was born, and I know some people like me do it for religion. (I'm not a jew xD) My friends told me that getting circumcised reduces the chance of getting STD's, is that true? Please explain. Also, if you have recently gotten circumcised, on a scale of 1-10 how much does it hurt? My friend is 12, turning 13 in May is thinking about getting circumcised, would it be too late for him or no? Anyways, so why do people get circumcised other than for religion? Edit: Getting circumcised makes yer p3nor smaller right? :S Edit 2: Is it just me, or does anyone here get "dissed" for being circumcised ;P

Well it really honestly serves a very small purpose if any. There are only several countries that go and have circumcision, which off the top of my head are the Philippines, Unites States, and maybe Israel? Most reasons it happens is because of cultural or religious factors. That's the reason it happens in the Philippines and Israel at least, and in America it may be because of stigma if you didn't. Honestly all you have to do is wash under the prepuce (the foreskin) and then you won't have any cleaning issues.
