chainmail or bathrobe?

i heard that speed is an important factor in training, and i was wondering if i should convert to a bathrobe for it's 10 speed boost atm i have a 19 dex 9 acc chainmail, but i like it's def bonuses against the bathrobe... also, p/c on a 19 dex 9acc + bathrobe? thx!

The same stat bathrobe would cost a lot more i think, and you can get enough speed from icarus cape and shoes. I have 131% speed without speed pill, and only 1 speed comes from my bottom armor, the rest is shoes and cape and pendant. edit: sorry for ruining the very helpful chain.

First, the TS should exchange that Pac for an Icarus cape, unless those shoes magically have 30spd... What pendant gives speed at low levels? The only one I know of is the MoN, but thats lv110+, and at that point I think you should at least be working on converting to a top/bottom set up. Anyway, I'll just list the pros and cons: Chainmail: Pros: +4 dex or Str advantage (dex translates to about 1 str (depending on the weapon) and 3.2 acc) +Def (practically useless... and if you CPQ completely useless) +Cheaper than a bathrob of equal dex. Cons: - Only usable on warriors (not a con if you only use warriors) Bathrobe: Pros: +10 Speed (if you do no have 130 speed without the pill, this is ) + Usuable on all classes (and very few classes dont use dex, so this is a major plus) Cons: - Less dex/str, (but when is 4str or 3.2 acc going to make a huge difference? 10 speed makes a far larger difference) - More costly if you want to match the dex/acc of a Chainmail. Personally, if you do not have 130 speed without a pill, then get a Bathrobe, even if you just dummy scroll it. If you do have 130+ speed without the robe, then the chainmail would be a better option (because speed caps). And for the record, experiments show that 10 speed roughly matches the impact of 7-8 Watt in killing speed (unless you train standing still... but those areas are rare)

is 130 speed the minimum? and is that including a pill? thx Adrox for the info. i would need to replace the my pac with a ic2 if im going to use my chainmail, otherwise, i have 120 speed without a pill...if i used bathrobe and ic, i'd have max speed! lol if imma get a ic2, wat amount of str would be sufficient? like 8str min? and p/c on that plz? thx again to those that contributed. :D
