Battery Replacement for iPod Touch

Is it worth the risk buying a battery replacement and open the Ipod touch by myself and change the battery? I saw many youtube videos and other websites that teaches you but I'm still not confident enough to do it and I dont want to waste apple's expensive 79$ battery replacement program... is there any other legitimate website that I can send my ipod for a cheaper price?

You can sell your iPod touch on ebay, but as there is something with the battery, may be it is different to sell it out. Why don't you purchase a replacement battery for your player? I have purchased a replacement battery for my iPod touch at uxsight, it just need USD12.00 If you accept my suggestion, i will send the link for the replacement battery to you.
