how much funding would i need for a new character?

so i want to come back to maple after a 5 month break and i was wondering how much funding i would need for getting a new char from 1-120 :} also i have 90mil and some equips i can sell... i would also be starting a new char so any ideas? :P

You technically don't need any funding to start characters. However you should add what class you want to play if you have any specifics, helps us know what equips you'll need to be on par with the rest of the field.

i mean like how much would i need to get to 120 with decent equips? (leeching maybe if i get bored) ill be an aran with a dex cap of 30

Well to give you a good idea, 500-800 mil nowadays is not uncommon and would be considered the norm/average. So with 100 mil I don't know how far you can get, and leeching will be out of the question unless you have a significant amount to earn with your items to sell. I would suggest at least 200-300 mil for a good time and a lot more if you plan on leeching.

well before i used to merch and i got my hermit from 70-100 using the money and i have 100m leftover.. so i could get back to merchanting.. how much have the prices changed?
