Problem: When I play Maple on full screen I have 2 inch black bars on the left and right side that go from top to bottom. The maple screen is centered and is basically a square. What: I just want to learn how to maximize the screen So maple is covering my whole screen on FULL SCREEN. Specs: Windows 7 Home premium (That all you need to know I think) 4.0 GB RAM Thanks for helping~

I had the same problem there is no way to fix what you have to do is hook your computer up to a monitor. or get a new one. becuase maplestory only let's you play at a max resolution of 860 by 460 pixels. if your using laptop like i said try connecting it to a monitor. of course this isn't convenient but it's all you can do until they let you play at a higher resolution. If you are running it with a monnitor and it still does this check the screen resolution. If you don't know how to do this just right click on your desktop choose properties Then go to settings you can view your current screen resolution from there or change it.(also just to let you know you said you are running windows 7 I use windows xp so I'm not possitive that this is how you change your resolution unless they changed it that should work if that doesent work the rest still applies) I hope I helped. Also if you need any extra help or this doesent work or you would like to give me more info about your computer so maybe it would be easier then just pm and I will reply to help you

the issue here is simply how the graphic driver handles the resolution. i dont know what you have, but i am completely capable of manually controlling the resolutions on any video card except for intel.

Believe me, you don't want it fullscreen. I had the black bars a while ago and suddenly it changed to fullscreen now everything is all stretched out of shape. But if you really want to change it, it depends on your graphics card. If your graphics card is an ATI Catalyst then I can help you, if not then sorry.

tron20If you have a graphics card by NVIDIA: Right click on your desktop; select NVIDIA control panel; under display properties change the setting from 'scale with fixed aspect ratio' to just 'scale'; notice how everything just got uglier when you run the game. It's not an error or problem or anything. In fact it ensures that the game runs as it's supposed to, no matter what monitor may be in use.

Hamburger89I had the same problem with vista when I ran it as administrator and when I edited the compatibility options. So maybe you should check if you didn't edit anything over there.
