Evan is NOT one of the five hero's!

Confirmed by nexon in their Q&A on Evan (horrible selection, I might add. Seriously, they prolly picked the easy ones out of a hat): Is Evan part of the legend, one of the five heros who defeated the Black Mage? or is Evan just a new job different from the legend? While Evan himself is not one of the heroes that fought the Black Mage personally, he is part of an ancient line of dragon masters that was nearly wiped out by the Black Mage when he fought the legendary heroes. So, what Nexon basically said was that the original Evan was NOT one of the five hero's that the Black Mage fought. This is further confirmed in the backstory posted by Hime on the Nexon Forums: The Black Mage fumed for a time, researching some way to destroy the Spirit Pact and defeat the Dragon King and his friend. Eventually he concluded that if he could lock Freud in ice forever, this might break the Pact. He launched a devastating attack on the pair, trying to maneuver them into a position where he could launch his horrible curse at Freud. After a fierce struggle, the Black Mage succeeded and managed to cast his devastating spell at Freud. So, what seemingly happened is that Black Mage got pissed off at the original Evan, decided to kill it with ice, and then dragon goes all gung ho and uses himself as a shield. So there you have it. Evan is NOT a legendary hero, double confirmation. However, there is a possibility that Nexon fudged up and made up their own back story for Evan. Or Korea didn't forward the correct versions. So what does this imply? 1. Legends will NOT necessarily be named accoriding to the vowel + letter + "an" method. 2. Evans will not be intertwined with Aran in any way, except perhaps the dragon made friends with Aran when he was frozen in ice! Ice buddies! 3. [/quote] However, Freed did not fight the black mage at all! Freed had no contact with the Black Mage until the paragraph aforementioned. Only the Onyx Dragon spoke with the Black Mage, prolly had some sort of emo session, being in all black and all... So, yeah. I also put Hero's instead of Heroes. Flame shield up for that.

i dont think all the heroes actually fought the black mage. they just have reasons to try and stop him bc of what happend b4 the black mage went whereever he went

The dragon egg is an egg from the original dragon. A farmer boy finds it. The dragon's legendary powers is imbued with this farmer boy. Now on March 31st , you'll see farmer boys every where. End of story.

Ok Evan isn't a legend but he's still a legend. What I mean is, technically he's not. However, I doubt they are going to release a/another "mage" legend. Evan is still the legend's successor so he counts. Evan replaces the Mage Legend. IMO

Evan (or the dragon, if you will) is a character of legend, HOWEVER, and this is VERY IMPORTANT, he was NOT one of the five main legendary heroes that fought the Black Mage. Nexon confirmed this from this link (Official Site): Pay special attention to the last bit, "he is part of an ancient line of dragon masters that was nearly wiped out by the Black Mage when he fought the legendary heroes." That implies that that ancient line of dragon masters did not fight the Black Mage directly in the confrontation that included Aran and the other five heroes. Evan is like Duel Blade, in that he is LINKED to the story of the black mage, though not one of the five.
