1 Handed and 2 Handed Difference

What is the attack difference between a 1 handed sword and 2 handed with the same attack. Im working on a 95 Sader. But im not sure to use the 1 handed or 2 handed reverse. It really depends on what attack shield i would need. Help please? ;D

the difference between 1h and 2h swords are that 1h are usually faster than a 2h but the 2h has a higher damage multiplier generally ive seen people use around 14 attack shields for an end game shield

Thanks, I didnt mean the speed, Thats the whole reason im switching, I mean the dmg difference between them.

You have to add up all the attack from your equips, blessing of fairy, and what attack potion (rage/warrior elixir/apple) you use, with a 2h sword. Multiply the total attack by 8 and divide it by 7 to find out 1h sword's attack needed to closely match the dmg range (you have to subtract the attack from equips/fairy/potion after dividing by 7). Example~ (my 2h sword = 120 attack, my attack from equips/buffs/fairy = 46) Total wep attack = 166 166 x 8 / 7 = 189.7 (190) 190 - 46 = 144 attack (from 1h sword and shield) to equal the same damage range as a 120 attack 2h sword This is just an example, the answers and factors are always different depending on your equips...

How much str = Weapon attack at my lvl? Or would i just discard str? Or does that count as a total wep attack?

There is no answer to that, the simplified equation is (total wep attack / total str = xstr equals to 1 attk), but the factors will always change if you gain/lose more str or gain/lose more wep attack.

I'd stay 2 handed if I were you during the Crusader period, since I thought 2h is just so much better with Power Strike than 1h, and I don't really see any need to fund a good 1b+ (14+ attack shield would be around 500m+ at least) for higher DPM when you'll be training majority if not, all the time.

I was considering this change with a reverse sir ;D So i would be 120. I dont know though. I might just say screw it and buy a good stonetooth. I just would like to know what sheild i would need for a 1 handed to beat a 2 handed in DMP, Not necessarily one to match the dmg or beat the dmg.

You would need 15 atk sheild which are 500-600m+ which isn't worth it when you can just buy a nice ST and destroy with it. ST= cheaper and efficent NRW= requires lesser dex then ST basically the mini-ST

To match the DPS of a normal (6) 2HS, a fast (4) 1HS needs around 96% of the total attack, whereas a fast (5) 1HS needs around 105% of the total attack. To match the DPS of a fast (5) 2HS (ignoring the fact that ST and NRW need dex to equip, which is actually a very major thing to ignore), a fast (4) 1HS needs around 104% of the total attack, whereas a fast (5) 1HS needs around 114-115% of the total attack. There is no set amount of extra attack that is needed because it depends on how much attack you already have from other sources (gloves, BoF, attack buffs/potions, etc) and the attack on the sword you're trying to match.

so most people here got the difference in atk for both kinds of weapons: 10% per speed difference, and 8/7 1h and 2h difference, both including the equips. other factors other than damage you need to consider is rarity and price. nicely scrolled STs which endgame, people get like 120+ atk in order to out damage most 1h + shield combos are incredibly rare and therefore expensive. a 1h combo that can compare to a 120+ atk ST would probably cost a bit more (especially the shield) but they aren't as rare. I don't really check prices every day, so i can't give you exact figures, but this is a general pattern for both these weapons.

Ive been looking at stonetooth's lately and sorry blueyessmew i dont understand why you put the (Number). I will probably just get/self scroll a 119+ stonetooth. Thank you for all your help guys. 120 isn't even Hero seriously. You're basically a Crusader till late 120's and then even then you're dishing out such pathetic damage it isn't even funny. 140+ minimum for bossing I'd say. (I mean small bosses such as zakum or big ones such as HT)
