| I got a level 90 ranger. I do love it. I love to use puppet and hawk to make my prey stay at one position and normal attack it till dead ( seriously I really did that! ) But. I just can't stand for the softness of it! I mean... OMG the bone fish can 2HIT KO me! So can anyone help me with this? T^T I mean help me how to avoid damage / to be more survive. I do know how to use puppet effeciently. But for some reasons, I still die 5~10 times in a level T^T (Dont give me video to see,I wont learn just watching but I will by reading) |

| Well, the best way is to get some hp equips if you're dying so much or if you're rich you can hp wash :S. I use a dept star and sometimes my veteran medal for extra hp, not to mention broken glasses supports me with some hp too. About the hp thing.. I die in a couple hits too, but that's why I don't train at gobies anymore lol (switched to typhons, 350-400 touch dmg to me, instead of a ridiculous 1.3k or something). It takes time to develop good control over any character and to understand what combos may be used to neutralize monsters. In this case, in Aqua, you should use distance and swimming to your advantage. Swimming allows you to go to any corner of the map, and that way you can keep your distance from the bonefish. I like to stay a safe distance away from the platform and strafe them, jumping when I need to to damage them. This works trust me (but yah I ditched gobies / bonefish / squids 2 levels ago (currently lv 90). Anyways, good luck! Bowman weeee ~~~ |

| That's what it's like to be an archer. You have to get used to it, or mass hp wash. Those are your only options. |

| Since you mentioned Aqua you really have to take advantage of the increased mobility there since you can often swim right over the Bone Fishes attacks, and they do have limited range so you have to figure out where you will get hit and when you aggro them when to move out of the way. Edit: To above - It could be for your own good. You get more accustomed to utilizing all of your skills and potting quickly rather than the simple Typhons. Then again I was never a big fan of them. With Skeles and such you will be using a lot of the same skills as you are at Gobies, and you will still die in two hits so it is worth learning now than later. |

It's good that you're learning the basics, but if you don't get a pet one of 2 things happens. Either 1) You get much less xp per hour because of pot lag and having to make sure it always works or 2) You get less xp because you die a lot. A pet and hp autopot is really worth it. |

|
JjwyH : That place. No need puppet which make very boring T^T.
Well Arrow Rain and a place to train with Puppet normally don't go hand in hand unless it is Gobies. Some people do use it at Typhons but it is just to take off a bit of damage and I suppose to keep the Typhons there. You can do some neat things with Puppet at Spirit Vikings while you use both Strafe and Arrow Rain, it is just that Puppet isn't really required at Spirit Vikings anymore, so I would just say learn how to swim over Bone Fish attacks since you have that extra mobility in the water. |
