I saw this under some of Nexon's surveys.. It was called: Apply for the Discover Open Road credit card today. and it has a 72 hour delay. It awards 51,536 NX, not 51.536, 51,536! Is this for real?

They tend to charge an annual fee, and they're not obligated to notify you about it. So it basically saps ~$30 every year from your bank account. Credit cards are for suckers.

It actually helps your credit score to have a credit card that you pay off on time. Oh BTW, there's an offer to get NX and free SHAMWOWS! WOW!

Unless you got somebody else's real SS number. The reason its 72 hours is because they check everything. Repeating stuff like this doesn't usually work on official sites. Edit: I tried this a long time ago. Didn't work for me. It could still work for you guys though.

[/quote] except if you use credit cards wisely and pay attention to your account, your credit score improves, allowing you to get better cars, a house, and other credit related items that you normally couldn't get.

[/quote] Call me crazy, but I doubt that one of the few credit card companies with no annual fees, most of which require a credit check, wouldn't be willing to partner with an online survey site offering rewards for making shady deals. Just saying. More likely, it's a scam. Just throwing the possibility out there. @Above: If you buy a frikkin house with a credit card, you'll be in debt the rest of your life. Haven't you learned this stuff by now? The way they work is, you borrow money to "buy" things. If you fail on making payments, they will take it back. That means that car isn't really yours until you make the last payment, and by the time you do finish with the last payment, you'll have payed around 50% on average more than you would have if you just saved the money. On top of that, you spend years paying for a car, by the time it legally becomes your property, it's outdated, and you want another. If you save up and buy the old fashioned way, the car you get is not only brand new, but you actually own it.

It does though have a pretty high interest rate. :o
