shaving problem: oh no

Lets cut to the chase. I'm a teenage guy. I shaved my you know what for the first time 3 days ago, just like the top and the part around the thing. It was fine the first day after. Day 2, i got bumps and what i think is acnea around the area. I realize this is typical the first time, but I want to know if there is something I can do to prevent it from reoccurring, or soothe/eliminate it. Here is what I did. 3 bladed shaver, mach 3 by gillete. Hopped in hot shower, waited 1 or 2 minutes, then just came at it from any angle I could to get rid of it. so any help? (i apologize if this is inappropriate)

It's your first time, it only normal for that area to be more sensitive. Next time don;t shave, and just trim. For now I guess all you can do is put some soothing cream on it. idk

Trim or wax. If you shave, use shaving cream. This is pretty easy logic.

Also, if you do choose to shave, I would recommend trimming some first before you actually partake in the wonderments of shaving. Hah. You really only need to trim before you shave if you haven't done it in a while and you got a little lions mane or something like that going on down there. Also, the bumps are just irritation. Your skin, especially there, is sensitive and needs time to get used to it. :]

yes creeper got it one hundred percent! you should put some lotion on it afterwards to prevent it from getting all dry and irritated and itchyyy
