I'd say the original Gold, Silver and Crystal themese are my favourite, although the remakes of HeartGold and SoulSilver are still really good (apart from a few like Goldenrod City's remake Dx)

I don't know really...I never really paid attention to the music unless I frequently heard it...I can sorta remember the Elite Four (Johto)

Bleah, I agree, Goldenrod City failed hard. The Bicycle theme was a good-enough-ish replacement though. xD Favourite of all time is Goldenrod City, followed by Azalea Town, then Littleroot Town and Cynthia's Battle Theme.

Although I don't particularly like Diamond and Pearl as much as Gold and Silver, the theme when vsing your Rival is epic. It just cracks me up, especially when playing Platinum. Cynthia's Battle Music isn't bad either. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gJTW0uwjqqk - Barry Dance from Platinum

This is why I love the GB Music key item thingy. After getting all 16 badges (Meaning all 8 in Kanto), go to Celedon City. In the first building on the left of the pokemon center, go in, up the elevator, and talk to the dude infront of the big globe. He'll give you that item that lets you switch back and forth between the original BGM/Battle music and the new versions. Most are close to the same, just less 32-bit sounding in the remakes. :P
