the title says it all... i was planning on STRless until 70, but after hearing around for a while, idk if i should add dex after i get my lvl43 bow (soul searcher) to about 50-60... so i wanna ask if will going strless until 70 max me weaker than other hunters at some point... and if yes when? if this helps, my soul searcher is 73att 1dex 5 acc, and i have 9att wg, 7att blessing. ty in advance

You got Bow of Magical Destruction or Gandiva Bow? If yes, You can strless till level 70+ and need to convert into low str by equip str equips ( such as zak helm etc ) until you can equip your final bow ( such as metus, nisrock or Reverse Engaw )

yes i can buy a kandiva, but its soooo scarce in Bello, if i find one, it would be either sux or overpriced

Mm..it depends how far you want to get with your bowman. If you want to make pretty far into the game, you should probably start converting to low str.

You should probably first think realistically how far you think you will get into the game. Do you want to reach onwards into 4th job? You might want to invest in a Reverse bow that requires 125 str. If you want to go NO-str or LOW-str it will definitely be more costly than being (regular str?) However, I do believe going str-less in lower levels will make you stronger than the average bowman because you will have much more DEX. I do caution you if you want to go str-less, make sure you are well funded! And think first before putting points into anything! (I screwed myself because I was LOW-str, and realized when Reverse items came out I could not equip the bow )

going STRless isn't very good unless you start on may-july, where maple weapons are common (and since bello isn't a very crowded world, maple weapons are scarcer here. heck, i have one kandiva, but i'm holding on it, since i've seen none good scrolled, or clean, in FM for like 2 months). going STRless while being unprepared (not having the weapons you need before you start, that means you need to have an older, higher-lvled character to collect them) is a very sad and hard combination. i feel that going regSTR on low lvls (till 50-60) it's easier, since low lvl weapons can be found for cheap in FM, bought off NPC's or made with Maker skill, are a bit more common than maple weapons, and you don't need to spend alot. i'd say start adding STR now. it's not like we're sins, going STRless isn't that good for us (it is good, but only if you have the right gear, and you don't have it) @above: going lowSTR isn't that bad, if you plan ahead, and i mean way ahead (i've been planning on what equips to get to keep my STR untouched ever since lvl 80, and haven't stopped doing so). i haven't raised my STR ever since lvl 60 (2 years ago) and, with a fair bit of scrolling luuck, some merching, time, and the right planning (along with the right equips) has made me able to wear a reverse weapon right now (and i never ever thought i'd ever reach lvl 100, not to mention 139, and leafre was unknow back then. heck, 3rd job was still quite new)

Remember, there are equips that you can get which would give you STR such as the belts, broken glasses, the lilin rings. Assuming that you are still level 31, you will be doing the kerning square quests in which you can at a +1 all stat earrings or if you are doing the elin pq you can actually get the earrings. Also, you can always get a +5 STR goblin cape from a quest when you are level 60. Therefore, I would recommend you determine what level of belt you might get and just add str when you decide to change bows since you would know at that time. Remember, Maker is your friend since you can just add STR to any equips that you make so I would recommend some planning before adding points in to STR.

doepo: No, STR does not affect HP. INT, however, affects MP. TS: STRless is better until around 80-90, depending on what kind of bow you can find. I didn't convert until 90 because my 103 Nishada beat any other Xbow I could find. I happened to find a 115 Casa Crow though, so I switched. And if you're going to convert, make sure to start adding BEFORE you get to the level of the bow. I learned that lesson the hard way...
