This is currently the guild that I'm in's Event! The prize is only 100m, and Im winning against the only other person who's competing. haha. ;P Well, I like this topic, so people.. go on and try it to if you want. ;P I'll link mine, one sec. -Waits to be flamed for making a Maple story- EDIT: Here's mine.. Already made one back in september haha. -copy pasta- --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ok so here is my situation: I play runescape. (OMGz RUNESCAPE? GROSS) ya, i dont care about what any of you think of it / me for playing it. But anyways I have been playing runescape since late 2002 (yes i played classic) But anyways runescape has always been my "home game" it has always been the mmo that i play, i never really tried any other game until a member of this runescape clan that i was in made a thread about maplestory. I had no idea what it was so i checked out his link (he posted a link to maplestory's website in a thread he made on the clan website) I had no idea how to sign up or anything (lol, i was like 14) so I just quit. About 2 months later, my real life friend said that he found a new game, maplestory. He let me play on his guy (he was like a lvl 15 warrior) and he was at pig beach. I loved that fact that you could just use the arrow keys to move, and attack whenever you wanted to using control (control was his attack key) So I downloaded the game and began playing. I chose to be a warrior first, because i didnt know what a thief class was, and i didnt want to be a mage or archer. So I chose warrior in the world Bera. I began playing and i liked the game a lot. It took me about a week to get to level 15. (I was veery slow when I first started, most of the time I was just hanging out with my friend or exploring. So the next week when I went to his house, him and his friend decided they wanted to play in Broa instead. So i followed them and we all made new accounts. Me and him chose wizards (we were gonna be clerics) and his friend chose thief. Me and him played the whole day, he would party me at pig beach, and i would hang on a rope and he would attack pigs. (Yes I guess technically I was leeching lol) Cuz I was still new to the game and I died a lot lol. At the end of the day I was level 16. Then he told me about... NX... He showed me what NX was, and what the cash shop was, and I had to have some. So I said, "Ill probably just buy like 5k nx to change my hair color, cuz it is just color and i dont care" So immediately when I got home I asked my dad if we had paypal. He said we did so I begged him to get me some nx. We went to the website and I saw that you could buy 5k, 10k, or 30k. I asked him if I could get 20k "please please :D" and he let me. So I went all out (with 20k) and bought hair color, skin color (changed to blue), and a brown puppy, name tag and all that other stuff for pets. So I went to change my hair color, and! I got black... (it changed from brown... to black...) I didnt even notice the difference and I kept checking my inventory going, "Where is my card? They said I used it but nothing happened?" I found out shortly after that it just changed to black -.-. Then I changed my skin to blue. I loved the look of my guy :D I looked like this: http://img14.imageshack.us/img14/3962/map

Ready for a wall of text? No? Too bad. A.D. 47, Small island off the coast of Antarctica, tribe of people living there. (First person view) I feel no different. No different than any other person in my village. A village of war. Combat with spears and axes. I'm in a class, with other eight year old boys. Girls don't go to school. They stay at home with the mothers and learn girl stuff while the men in the tribe hunt for food. In school, we learn to fight other people with spears and axes. I don't like spears. They're too long and floppy. Axes are too heavy. I told my teacher, but he hit me for it. I can't do it. One day, I took my spear. My spear is made of wood, with a walrus tusk on the end. I managed to get my friend to cut off the tip of the spear, and about 2 feet of wood. I went to go kill the ice-statues, just like everyone else, but my teacher stopped me. He picked up my short-spear, and held it in his hand. He punished me for braking school property. I vowed that one day, I will use these short-spear things. I am now 15. I can use the spears, and can pick up the axes, but everyone else is better than me. Secretly, I made a short-spear out of wood and a little piece of ice I found. When nobody is looking, I build a little mound of snow and stab it with my short-spear. Oh, I renamed the short-spears as shorties, because short-spear was too long. I was good with my shorty, I could stab quickly and avoid being attacked. I was a better fighter than anyone else, as long as I could use my shortys. A big kid in my class called me a "ban dit". I think he was trying to say bad "nit" (nit means thief in my village). He thought I stole his shorty. Now, everyone knows me as a bandit. A few kids asked me to make them a shorty. I did, so they called me the chief bandit. My bandit-friends and I sailed away, north to a land called Argenteeena. They say it like argentina (ar gen tin a), but i say argenteena. We made an order, and we are known as the men of the shadows, or the shadowers. Many people followed in my paths.
