vulpesI hear lots of people complain about all the horrible players, yet so rarely hear anyone singing the praises of the nice ones, I'd like to hear peoples stories :3 heres some of mine: once when I was training in a tree when what aprears to be a newbie wanders in, he asks if I hvae anything to spare, I tell him I dont really have spare cash but I have some pots he's welcome to, then I find out he's actualy level 40 something and I get 10k for being kind :3 when I'd just started maple again I ran into this guy and we got chatting, he offered to pay my fair to orbis and back just so I could see the sites :3 and yesterday when I was in hennesy this guy comes buy selling blood chaos, it was fairly priced so I bought it, then he gave me matching red level 30 mage gloves for free :3 theres more but those are the ones that stick in my mind right now

A friend of mine <we weren't close at the time, as we had just met> knew that my sister wanted a white guiltin and I wanted a blue avenger. So...she went out and bought me a blue avenger, and my sister a hat. She asked for nothing in return, either. We're good friends now, and enjoy each other's company, but it's nice to know that people can still be nice. :D I've also experinced many small acts of kindness...such as a reduction on ore prices merely because they other player knew I needed alot of them. Myself and a few others have started dropping feathers and processed wood in front of archers in solitary spots...such as deep in ant tunnel, and in the tower in Ossy. It helps them alot, and we even get a smile and a thank you for it. :D <Something I've found to be rare nowadays.> Also, back when I was level 26, I was in ant tunnel with my party when everyone around us started talking to each other in a friendly tone. The discussion rolled around to our favorite items, and I stated "avengers." A level 37 sin female walked up next to me and dropped an average dark avenger, telling me it was a gift and that I should keep it. If you look in the right place, there are plenty of kind people. Unfortauntely, there are those who aren't as good-hearted. D:

leveling isn't always easy, i helped a lv 12 sin once, and he actully gave me more xp then i gave him, for some reason, he got 20% off my kills and i got 80% off his kills and most monsters didn't give him a thing :S

When I made my archer, a level 25 archer came up to me and asked how much money I had. I told them, and he said he was deleting his account and that it was my lucky day. He ended up giving me 100k, millons of arrows, all my level 30 archer equipment and a huge stash of ores. It was really nice of him, and it's helped me tons. I think more people should do things like that. It shows that gMS really is ... I dunno, great? Haha.

It's a shame there are so many more bad people in MS than nice ones - I recently got my Dark Chaos and Dark Napoleon vac-hacked. But that Dark Chaos was a gift from a friend, and the Napoleon was given to me half-price because the guy who sold it to me liked me. There are plenty of nice people, they're just the trickier to find.

:D I was just going up the tower back to Orbis, and then some high level archer gave me 11.5k for free. :P Too bad I forgot their name. x_o;; Another time, some level 40 bought my pink jester for 300k. :P Not sure if it was on purpose, or she really didn't know the price of the pink jesters... T_T But I must say I was pretty lucky.

I remember back in the Beta, my now long lost friend BoOoSMoKE helped me and a friend lvl our rouges. He was really helpful, very kind and friggin hilarious to hang out with. We became really good friends after that. SMoKE, if you're out there, I hope you haven't forgotten Tetsyo and Thanxman ^.^

I encounter so many selfish and rude people in the ant tunnel... But when i got to ossy that changes dramatically. More people respect the fact that i'm training, as i never disrespect anyone. I even had someone offer to help me scare away a mage trying to take my spot. On my archer, i got defamed 6 times by some guy for no apparent reason... maybe it was that sin who tried taking my spot but couldn't... but anyway I met a few people and they mass famed me back. I find myself faming people for no reason, and mass faming those unjustly defamed. What goes around comes around. The only reason some people are nice is because others were nice to them. The last time i defamed was last week and before that i hadn't defamed anyone in a month. I don't see the point of wasting a fame point on some arse who probably won't play the game in 2 weeks. I randomly fame people and sometimes i get fame back... I don't count on getting anything in return, it's just nice to see that some people still have respect for fellow players and are capable of kindness

One time i was in Perion and a higher level warrior (40 or 50 something) came up to me and asked me how much a panlid cost. I told him about 300k, and then he gave me 350k and told me to get myself one.

Hehe--I love this topic. Saw a mage gathering for a shoe quest--gave the shoes to her. (White Magicshoes). Also gave a sin near us his first fame point. I also love to get to the end of a training session and realise I have not used my fame point. I'll go to the hunting ground in Henesys, look for the hardest working Newb, off in the corner, trying to kill without getting KS'd, and fame that person and trade them some pots, mesos, etc. Very fun. I hope MS develops more this way rather than becoming a bunch of "1337" MMORPG dorks who forget what it was like to start off in the game.
