Aran spelling mistakes

ok, i know this is old news, but.. nexon did a very poor job with the aran skill book. i read through each 1, and there are several spelling mistakes. the most obvious 1 is the combo smash skill which reads: "Achieves excellent amound of danger at the booth" i feel nexon needs to go through and read all of the skills and fix the several spelling mistakes. what do you think?

well, first off. amound is supposed to be amount. that is only 1 of the spelling mistakes. there are places where they meant to have it read: provide, but instead it says privde. and yes, this is not a big deal. but in my opinion, it becomes a matter of their professionalism. if they can't spell a few 2 syllable words, how can we expect them to run the game. (yes, i know I can't spell well either, but that's why im not managing a game.) and my 2nd point, they didn't test the game. if I, a regular person, was able to spot those errors, then their entire team should of figured it out and had it fixed before aran came out.

[/quote] You're criticizing Nexon's spelling when you can't spell either, neither is your grammar correct.

well, im criticizing that they are more then just 1 person. they are a company, and when there is more then 1 person reading the work, they will probably find the problem and fix it. and 2nd. i dont take the time to type with good grammer. im too used to letting the auto capitalize work for microsoft word xD. in my opinion, its like this. imagine if there were spelling mistakes in the bill or rights, then som1 got confused by it. im not criticizing nexon sayin they are bad typists, i just want them to fix it. im just stating the basic idea that if they would of taken the time and read over their work, they would of fixed the problem.

[/quote] You're example is flawed, this isn't the bill of the rights, it's a kids game. No ones going to care enough to actually complain unless you have an OCD that requires accurate spelling. Yes, they should fix it. Is it worth a thread? No.

well, to be honest with you. this is a simple problem that i am asking people's opinion on. in MY opinion, it is not much of a problem, more just a flaw that they should fix. and about this being not worth a thread. my point was to go out and see how many people are affected by simple mistakes. that is what i did. i see you dont have a problem with it, thats ok. but there are others who do. notice the way the votes have gone so far. a little over half said they shouldnt fix it, and almost the rest said they should.

[/quote] oooh yeah! People are so affected, 1 died at gallos cause of a they misspelled a word causing him to be distracted!

They also spelled "warrior" like "Qarrior" in one of the beginner quests, I think it comes after you arrive in Lith Harbor, and I think they fixed it as well. I should've taken a screen while it was there haha... Eh, spelling mistakes in MS are still pretty minor, I think Nexon has plenty worse to deal with :D

(i would use different words, but dont want them to be cencored out) what i mean is: lets say you are COMPLETELY new to maplestory, and have no idea what anything is. you look at the skillbook for aran and you cant figure out what it does, so you dont know if you should max it.

once again you prove my point by the way you talk, but you need to remember. NOT ALL MAPLERS SPEAK ENGLISH. i know people that take things they get from maple and put it through translators to see waht it means. and when there are spell mistakes, it fails. as of now, the poll is going the way i expected it to. there will bo NO votes for the "fix it asap", and there will be alot of votes for: not a big deal. as for the other 2, they fit with what i figured too.

Final Cross...is it suppose to be final toss? Combo penril...is it suppose to be combo peril? smart knockback...it is worded badly, making it sound like it REDUCES damage to knock something back. Combo smash...what you said. I can't wait until I get to 4th job, just to see what kind of crappy mistakes they made in the 4th job skill book.
