Hello basilers! Tonight's another one of those restless nights where I'd rather stay up and chat with you all while I do homework than go to sleep :D For anyone who is unfamiliar with these threads, this is a place where people can ask questions to each other (to the opposite gender in particular) that they may otherwise suppress for whatever reason. We do not pass judgment in this thread, and there is no such thing as a stupid question. There are, however, such things as immature questions here, so please guys, let's keep this mature and appropriate. Questions that could be answered on Wikipedia should probably not be asked here... But questions of habits or social preferences, etc, are fair game. Ask whatever you're curious about! To give some merit to my own answers: I'm a girl, senior in high school. Does anyone want to start us off?

@ Lorz: I think that it mostly has to do with first impressions. For example, at a party, the mindset is that people will be more likely to strike a conversation with you if you're attractive. It's much harder to give an impression of your personality when you're meeting people, so they try to draw people in who are attracted to them... And dressing in revealing ways is a way to do that, I suppose. @ Kuro: It really depends on the person... I'm usually against it though cuz it's itchy D: But sometimes it looks nice!

I think nice guys win out in the end. From my experience, the "nice guys" in high school are also the awkward guys xD [e] @ Tehidden: Usually more girls come. I think it's important to not just have my perspective over here ._.

I don't have that problem 'cause I've never been self-conscious about my weight or anything. I've pulled the not hungry card, but only when I've been too nervous to actually eat. Otherwise, I think eating one-on-one with a person on a date can be kind of awkward... 'cause not only are you having a one-on-one conversation, but you're doing it between mouthfuls of food too, which can make it harder to have a smooth conversation, etc >___>
