End game weapon decision!

Ok, so I have a chance to buy a 135 Zedbug for 800m. Should I buy it or buy a Crimson Arcglaive for my endgame weapon instead?

Well, one speed difference is 10-15 weapon attack, so getting a prescrolled arcglaive (at least 115 attack) is probably better for your dps, if you don't plan to boss much, then the zedbug is probably better. Also if you have good attack equips then the arcglaive becomes better as it can attack more at a stronger rate.

Now, I only have 800m to work with, so I was thinking I wouldn't be able to get a good arcglaive yet. Iw as hoping for a 120 Att Arcglaive, but that seems out of reach.

A normal one would cost 300 mil, a 110 attack one would be 500 mil, anything pass that is rare, i think you should just get one clean, and try to scroll it yourself.

That 1 speed 15 weapon attack crap is a myth, the difference is NOT that big. I admit arcglaive is fast but it 110-115 arc would NOT outdamage a 135-140att weapon.

The speed can DRASTICALLY change how much damage you do over time; it's not raw damage that you'll see. 1 Speed might have you doing 2000 damage per hit, where as that 120+ Zedbug may have you hitting 3000-3500, but if that 1 Speed has you throwing in 10 more hits over a minute; it's worth it. HOWEVER, this also boils down to what you prefer; personally I'd rather have higher raw hits and have a better chance at knocking back enemies. For example, if you have that Arcglaive, you may do more damage over time, but even with Smart Knockback, if you are 500 or so damage short of knocking back the boss/enemy, it's not prefered. The Zedbug wins in THAT situation. Basically, it boils down to preference, experience, and how/where you train. The Zedbug is my favorite weapon and thus I'll PROBABLY use it forever, or switch to a Diesra if I can scroll it to 155+. Otherwise if I mystically come up with the cash, I'll switch to an ArcGlaive. For now, my Zedbug hasn't proven itself unworthy. I love it.

I personally like slow weapons better than normal weapons. For one they're cheaper And two there's way more of them on the market. The zedbug is my favorite polearm by looks, I plan on forging one with an adv diamond and adv str. Then scrolling it with 60's and use that until I can get a 140 or more desiera. Its more cost effective and the kb rate will be higher, which in my view is way better than speed.

Knockback isn't a problem. The Aran's first hit is 100% damage with a POLEARM formula and High Mastery, making it do more damage than 100% damage from a Hero. Brandish does 988% damage and Smart Knockback reduces knockback down to 10% of the original. If you managed to connect the dots since I can't explain this well, then you'll know that if Brandish can knock something back, then an Aran should be able to as well.

The rate of which a faster weapon wins by AT&T is not a number but a %. those telling u 10-15 are idiots to set a number to a percent. Also an arans att formula is way more dependent on a fast weapon than any other class. Being dependant on combos a faster weapon will allow for a higher number in a short amount of time. This factor greatly increases the advantage gap a faster weapon has over a slow one. With such a tempermental system there are hundreds of ways to lose ones combo which means an arans goal should not only be to keep a high combo but get a weapon that will allow them to recover a lost combo as fast as they can. That being said a faster weapon can't be compared to a slower one simply by a number as there are to many factors that determine your dmg. IMO any 110+ ATt arcglaive will benefit u more then that zedbug and with 800m u can surely get a 117 or more ATt one.
