Do you work for your money?

I never had a job in my life. Recently, I've noticed myself doing "cheap" things around my friends and family. My main source of money is my birthday and Christmas money, followed by my parents. I used all of that money on a camera, a couple books, food, etc. Instead of buying a PS3, I borrowed my friend's XBOX 360 and used the last of my Christmas money to buy FFXIII. Also, I owed him $54 at one point since he has a credit card and buys me whatever I want (because he loves me that much). I would pay him back in portions by buying him lunch, and the last $10 of it in coins (which he didn't accept). Now I'm craving for a DS because everyone is enjoying Pokemon HG/SS. However, I don't wanna be cheap and ask my parents to buy the stuff for me, yet I just don't see myself working at a job (I have a busy schedule between school and piano). I'm just a leecher. One more thing: I'm a senior in high school. Any thoughts?

I plan on getting a job in the summer too . I`ll be 15 towards the end of it . I`ve been getting all my money from saving up from Chinese New Years , birthday money , & Christmas .

I have a job and pay for everything myself, though that has been established only recently. I got my first job right after high school Now I'm in college I paid for my tuition this year. I felt like crying after I submitted the payment. D:
