Are mounts worth it?

TBH I got my mount 'cuz I like pork :/ But are mounts really worth the 10 or 20m?

well, on my aran, i raced a guy with a silver mane (lvl 120 mount) using combat step jump and i beat him by about 1/4-1/3 of henesys

I regret it getting it on my Aran. Areas mounts can be used are limited and most just have mobility skills

IMO, if you have the extra cash to burn get the mount because you do get tired of holding down teleport and the direction you want to go instead of just summoning the mount and having fun with it. If you don't have any kind of speed skill or teleportation or etc. I do recommend getting the mount otherwise that 20m could have become your pot money =/

im only getting mounts for my warriors, all the other jobs have movement ups...maybe bows? when do they get thrust? 3rd job right? so yeah maybe for bows.

[/quote] bowmen normally dont max the skill becuase some areas is a pain to move around with max speed. And once u put points into thrust u can demote your speed like haste. Futhermore a piggy is still faster because its speed it 150-170% while the max speed a person can get by equips is only 140%
