Weapon and Spell Casting Speed

| Sorry i'm nooby with the workings of a mage, can anybody tell me if the weapon attack speed (staff and wand) has any effect on magic casting speed, like between an elemental wand (slow) and staff (fast), does it matter, so i can know if i should go lukless and grab the wand if the weapon speed has no influence. |

| from my views... Wands tend to be fast class if you went reg mage but some staffs are slow. normally Arch-mages can use booster magic but priests can feel odd when they use staff because it is slow casting but when i used heal. i tend to cast it fast then staffs do... |

| It has no influence on casting speed as far as I know, the casting speed depends on the skill, not the weapon. Note: speed can be improved with booster. |
