did maplestory ruin your life?did it do anything good for you other then entertainment?please explain the cons of playing maplestory and pros.

I learned Spanish from KSers, English from Basil users that think the more vocabulary you have, the more likely you are to win an argument, I've learned somewhat determination, however since I have half-assed determination to level my characters, it reflects in school! I've learned how to understand others a little better, which helps in real life situations, so in a way i thank that AWFUL Maple Drama I've only discovered after reading this thread that half my school teachers are the equivalent of the way that high levels talk to 'noobs', and take advantage of their authority Still thinking of more things I've learned. To be fair, I'm the way I am because of MS in so many ways...I'm sure without it I'd be much more immature, I'd probably have a girl pregnant, be on drugs, etc. etc. So despite regretting my joining of the game 4 or so years ago...I'm still thankful for those small things ^^ The things that ruined my life?... I'm pretty sure for a majority of people like myself, many years ago I'd find myself rejecting invitations from friends to go out so i could level my Wizard another level! Wow! ...Then you realise what a huge mistake it was. Thankfully I'm not like that anymore. I think I just answered so many questions I've been asking myself for ages. Thanks for making this thread!

I have more patience now. I'm a lot more lazier. uhhh It made me type with capitals and end with periods. Typing speed is so much faster than before. That tis all my friend.

Whilst introducing me to Basilmarket, I can say that my spelling and grammar have improved a whole lot. A lot of gaming terms have also furthered my vocabulary and such, I think it has benefited me.

It did. If I add up all the time I've spent playing Maple it would be like 400 hours... So I pretty much burnt away 16-17 days of my life for a video game ._.

I met my boyfriend on maple. We are now dating in real too even if we live faaar away from eachother. But we meet at least once a month and we're so happy togehter ^_^ My life is so perfect now :3 And it's all thanks to MapleStory.

No, it didn't ruin my life because I've made new friends in real life because of this game. I also learned that if you have plans with real life friends, go with them, don't sit there and play Maplestory all day.
