It is hard to find other people's expectations of fun so go try one. Get it to Level 15-20 and see if you like the gameplay if you don't like it delete it. You have to buy arrows, you can't recharge them (we are not sins) Funding is moderate if you buy regular equips but if you want to be strong like all classes, money would be useful.

its not much of fun in 1~3rd job except that moment of excitment you get when u first learn strafe and arrow rain and actually put some numbers on your screen. After that is long and boring killing 1 by 1 train till lvl 120. The greatest excitmet for all bowman, 1 sp in hurricane (the fastest skill in maple story along with corsair's rapid fire). Its a fun skill to kill monsters, just spam in town, w.e. Because of skill sharp eyes, BM almost never have any problem finding things to do. Every boss party needs BMs, so once you get to high lvl with max SE, everyone will ask you to come boss with them. Also, BM is considered the strongest solo bosser, no other jobs can match BM in soloing bosses. If you are looking for job that everyone want to have you in party, go for BM. Of course, since it is one of main jobs of MS, it takes relatively more mesos to fund it. Down side of BM would be that you "complete" it relatively later than NL and MM. Since only 4th job skill that greatly change NL's dmg is Triple Thow, pretty much lvl 130~140 NL can "complete" the job, and also MM uses strafe (3rd job skill) as its main atk, they "complete" the job earlier. In other hand, BM needs to max hurricane to lvl 30, then SE, Bow Expert, concentrate, MW... I have to say BM job "completes" at around lvl 155~160. Anyways, I previously had a Hero, Hermit, Blaze Mage, Aran, Evan (KMS), Dual Blade(KMS), Outlaw, but I have to say I find BM the most interesting. So I guess to make it simple, it is a job that is very difficult to raise, but worth all the while once you complete it. You do not recharge arrows xD at 2nd job, you learn a skill called Soul Arrow, which basically make you able to shoot arrows w.o having arrows while the skill last. So, most archers past 2nd job will rarely ever use use slot arrows. Diamond arrow and Fire Arrow adds 4atk to your w.atk. Most ppl never bother using it, but I sometimes use it on bosses when i have free slots in my inventory. I usually carry 1000~2000of these incase I wanna kill something and have to kill faster xD

I think bowmen are the most fun jobs in the game (: [Considering that I've tried all other adventurers... that means no CKs nor pirates] They have nice, flashy skills, mobbing skills, good DPS... but they have disadvantages too, like low HP, expensive/hard to find good equips... It is said to be of the hardest jobs to level, but for me, it applies until lvl 100~120 :S -My hell levels...- the rest was pretty easy. The arrows aren't rechargeable- once you use them all you'll have to purchase them again. Also, they do not stack with Soul Arrow.
