Ellina use to be Ellin?

Is Ellin they past of Ellinia? yes if it is sorry i just wanted to know... and the npcs are they a younger version of some of the npcs now? tys for ur comments and if so can u guys post a link for the maplestory "storyline" http://i347.photobucket.com/albums/p457/Kuzumi_CHAN/pirates.png

I believe, Ellin forest is now Victoria Island. If you do Aran quest, helping out that warrior guy, say something about perion map. East rocky mountain i think. Making a village or something. Conclusion: Its victoria island (IMO)

Yeah I think Ellin Forest used to be the Entire Island, and the NPCs in Ellin are the ancestors of the 4-5 Job Instructors there are now.

actually "dances with balrog", the guy that advances you as a warrior, is present in that time by the name "crawls with balrog" as a baby. and athena the bowman job instructor is there too.

In my opinion, Ellin Forest is where the city of Ellinia now is. If you go all the way to the left, you will notice rock formations very similar to the ones in Perion now. Therefore, I think Ellin is where Victoria Island was founded. Of the NPCs shown there, I think only Athena Pierce is still alive, since she's an elf (she can live for hundreds of years). Maybe the magician guy is Grendel the Really Old, but I don't know for sure. [To the people above me: There's no way the NPCs could be the current job intructors. The time difference between Ellin and Victoria is about a thousand years. Like I said, only Athena Pierce could have survived. Crawls with Balrog is probably a distant ancestor of the current Warrior Job Instructor. ]

Maple's story can be fascinating if you pay attention. :D It's also kind of sad, since now we know that Perion used to be nice and have forests like Ellinia, but is now a barren wasteland...
