And I definitely need help for it. How do I be more attentive towards other people? That might be a bit vague, so lemme get into a little more detail. I've heard from others that sometimes I'm not really completely focused on people, and I've noticed this myself as well. I've also had a friend tell me recently that I just walked off on somebody I might never see again right as they began to talk. I feel like mentally hanging myself for being such a... you can fill it in. How can this problem be remedied?

I'm a little confused on the issue, but it seems like you could control a few aspects of it, like walking off when someone's talking to you. ...Probably shouldn't be giving you any advice since I'm no expert, but that bit is common courtesy.

You can start by actually helping people on basil with their questions instead of "Why would you ask basil, this is the last place to do it" or making fun of them blah blah blah. Help yourself by helping others.

It's probably your genetic mindset, where you're introverted or extroverted. (If that's what I think you're talking about) If you're thinking about objects instead of people, you just need to focus on them. If you're thinking about yourself, then that means you're introverted and it would require more effort for you to pay attention to others.
