Why is Himes called Himes?

I've never known why its called himes, anyone want to tell me?

Because i said so! OT: Somebody just wanted to shorten the name so then they nicknamed it himes.

You can't have that many princess' in one spot... Himes (according to my japanese friend) has some sort of a dual meaning, like it's sort of a play on words in japanese. You could say it one way to mean princess but in another way it would imply ghost or something.
