400% damage ?

Can somebody please tell me why they would give you a 400% damage buff in a PQ where the monsters only have 1 HP?

My Characters: deathBycombo - 100 Bera Aran in Misery

Because if you hit higher damage, there is a higher chance of getting "cool" kills. (Try doing the subway PQ with level 1 heal compared to magic claw, or doing it at a llower level in general.)

More cool hits=more points=more exp. :D Unfortunately the buff can be taken out and everyone can pretend to be a DBZ character and kamehameha things way above their level.

Take the 400% glitch and go to fm. Then type what one of the website spammers are typing and report yourself with alert GM tool with reason "meso website spammer". Godly xp. Enjoy.

[/quote] When the only way to get it out is to do something you would not normally do during a pq or, after fixing it, the only way to get the buff is to hack, you can assume it's not supposed to exist. Also, it would be ridiculously game-breaking to allow people to take this out and use it. HT was a joke during this glitch and PB would've been too I imagine. I'm generally lacking in the common sense department but really? Even I know this shouldn't exist outside the pq.

i thought it was there, because arans can absorb % of the dmg as hp, i aint sure

[/quote] Well it was in maplesea a few months ago i so i assumed that if it was a glitch they would have patched it by the time it came 2 gms

Apparently every version of MS got the glitch, and the patch to remove the glitch came later for all versions. Since nexon took action... eventually... you can assume it wasnt meant to exist. Also, you cant call it a glitch if it was meant to exist. An unintentional existance is part of the definition of a glitch.
