nexon screwing us over again

for the 5th time now, i am installing the game client from the website. i already had it on my computor and havnt deleted/altered the files. i have sent several tickets to nexon complaining about their s*** service. what do i do to solve this problem? has anyone else had this problem?

Oh man, I feel you This is a really serious problem, my friend had the exact same problem and he never fixed it. I think you should just quit maplestory that way nexon will lose one of their best players How dare nexon do this to you... /sarcasm Seriously, just quit, this can't be fixed, there's no cure for stupidity...

try running the game from the application on your computer. The game data might be saved in a wierd place that the site can't recognize.

i am reinstalling, sarcasm is the lowest form of wit, i dont want to buy a new computor and i dont need to, and by us i mean the percentage of the MS population that has been screwed over this way or some other way in the past. does anyone have anything to say that isnt spam/flames?

Look i have a question: When you install it do you get like some message that says you already have it in your computer ? Edit: It's computer not computor, i would not doubt you are doing something wrong with that spelling. This might help: 1)Uninstall maplestory 2)Make sure its completely uninstalled 3)Go to windows main page to download and run Windows Installer cleanup utility 4)After running the clean up utility look for maplestory or something called maple.msi and remove/clean it (i dont remember) 5) Install maple again it should work now. The problem is not maple's is a computer bug that tells you that the program is there while its not, what the clean up utility does is beat some sense into the PC and cleans the bug for you. [/quote] Sarcasm can be awesome and can be highly intelligent. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it's he lowest form. </3 As to your problem. 1) Make sure the game is completely uninstalled, not just the icon deleted. Control Panel --> Add/Remove Programs (or whatever) --> Uninstall Nexon/Maplestory 2) After that is done download the client from the site and install it. 3) Make sure you're logging in from the site and not using the desktop shortcut. Though some people can still log on using the desktop icon, there are some people who can't and MUST use the website to log on. Other than that, not sure. You could try re-starting your computer before re-downloading it or something.
